We are very pleased to announce that our 0D Cinema project, which will be held at the Parabola Arts Centre on Saturday 23 March, has been cast.
All of the roles in the two ‘movies’ which are being shown have been accounted for. If you did get in touch but were not successful, please do apply for future projects.
This was a very odd project to cast for. We recorded all of the auditions and listened to them back before making a final decision. Some very interesting effects were experienced – for instance, the youngest part is not going to be played by the youngest actor.
When the visual element is removed, voices create an image of their speaker that doesn’t necessarily match their physical body. I would imagine this is a more readily accessible version of what some people experience when they find someone’s voice does not match their face.
